The article is devoted to the analysis of metaphorical scenarios embodied in modern media texts. This problem was not yet the subject of special consideration in modern textology and style.

The research material is the national corpus of the Russian language. The object of the study served as modern media texts. The subject of the analysis in the article became the ways of metaphorical conceptualization of fragments of the world and the principles of representation in the media text of this kind of knowledge.

Increased metaphor is a characteristic feature of modern media text.

Modern media text to a large extent to the metaphor, which becomes its mandatory feature. Metaphors are grouped into complete sets. Some set of metaphors with a given auxiliary subject forms a cognitive model. The main cognitive metaphor models presented in the modern media text are the following: construction, military, medical, transport, zoonymic, theatrical, culinary, spatial. These metaphors largely determine our behavior and real events. They reflect the world, and the world reflects them. The article considers the following scenarios: construction, medical, transport, zoonimical, theatrical, culinary, etc. Any objects (future, politics, film, performance, etc.) can be described through elements of the construction scenario (foundation, brick, roof, etc.). d.). With the help of contextual and interpretative methods, as well as elements of component and quantitative analysis, the semantic-pragmatic and associative potential of language units belonging to different spheres of human activity is revealed, when they are fixed in media texts. Features of metaphorical modeling are one of the objects of research in modern linguistics. The variety of images, connotations and associations leads to the fact that the socio-political realities are increasingly reflected through language units that are included in the non-political sphere.

The medical scenario is based on the assimilation of the crisis state of society to diseases (ulcer, itching, deafness, etc.). Phenomena associated with movement, movement, are conceptualized as vehicles: ship, boat, train, etc. Scenarios related to the animal world embody a boa, dragon, tail, web, etc. Extremely active assimilations relating to the world of theater, cinema, circus, sports: arena, staging, clowning, somersault, somersaults. Culinary metaphor is embodied in a number of ideas: cocktail, garnish, vinaigrette, etc. The article shows how the metaphor unfolds in the text, organizes its structure and content, as the description can be built in one thematic key. The article presents the metaphor as a way of conceptual development of the world and part of our conceptual system. The considered metaphors represent the world as a struggle of destructive and constructive beginnings. The military metaphor, the metaphor of the painful state of society, and others respond to a destructive beginning. The constructive beginning is associated with positive metaphorical scenarios, for example, the scenario of the improvement of society. The metaphor focuses knowledge, ways of action, reality and pre-reality. Behind all this is a certain mentality and a picture of the world.

The prospect of further research is seen in the possibility of applying the theoretical principles of our work to conceptual analysis and cognitive research.
